In this section we step up in the steel quality. If you are a true martial artist and want a sword that will have no peer in durability and cutting edge, then this section should be your starting point. A 1060 blade is recommended for the best edge, and 1095 is recommended for the most durable blade for such things as sparring practice. All katana in this section come with a certificate or scroll of authenticity to show this is a true Minamoto blade and with the specs of the Katana purchased.
